Colorado Rockies Call Up Outfielder

The Colorado Rockies are calling up Wynton Bernard for Friday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. 

Bernard has yet to appear in a major league game, but this call-up is expected to change that. It's been a long road for the 31-year-old outfielder, but he is now getting the chance to live his dream as a major league player.

In 87 games this season with Triple-A Albuquerque, he has 17 home runs, 74 RBIs, and a .325 batting average. With numbers like these, it's clear that he has earned this call-up.
