Cleveland Reliever Unvaccinated for COVID 19; Will Not Make Trip to Toronto
It's the story of the season for teams visiting Toronto. Fans and opposing fans will check prior to a team's series in Toronto to see which players are unvaccinated for COVID-19 and, as a result, will be unable to cross the border.
For the Cleveland Guardians, it's their reliable reliever James Karinchak.

He's the only Cleveland player that will be absent on the trip.
The twenty-six-year-old has been lights out this season, throwing a stellar 1.84 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and 25 strikeouts across 14 innings.
Over his young four-year career, Karinchak has an ERA of 3.25, 1.12 WHIP, and 164 strikeouts across 102 innings.
