Cleveland Guardians Pitcher Sent Down To Triple-A

Peyton Battenfield has been sent down to Triple-A Columbus by the Cleveland Guardians.

Battenfield was recently called up to the Guardians' major league roster, but, unfortunately, did not appear in a single contest for them. As a result of this, he is still looking to make his major league debut. He will once again need to receive a call-up later down the road for that to happen.

In 21 games this season with Triple-A Columbus, Battenfield has a 7-5 record and 3.19 ERA in 21 appearances. He will be aiming to maintain this kind of solid stuff from here.
