Cincinnati Reds Sign Outfielder

The Cincinnati Reds have signed Stephen Piscotty to a minor league contract.

Piscotty was recently released by the Oakland Athletics, but he now has found a new home with the Reds. He will be aiming to impress in Triple-A Louisville, as it could be what gets him called up to the major league level again before the season is out.

In 42 games this season with Oakland, Piscotty had five home runs, 14 RBIs, and a .190 batting average.
