Cincinnati Reds Infielder Returns To Lineup

On Friday, the Cincinnati Reds activated Mike Moustakas, and he immediately returned to the lineup against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Reds are hoping that Moustakas can end the year on a high note, as the 2022 campaign has been a very rough one for the veteran. In 74 games, he has six home runs, 21 RBIs, and a .201 batting average.

It will be intriguing to see how Moustakas finishes out the year. If he performs well, perhaps that could be enough to help the Reds find him a new home for 2023 via trade.
