Chicago White Sox Provide Update On Yasmani Grandal

Good news for the Chicago White Sox - Yasmani Grandal's testing did not show any acute damage in his knee but rather inflammation. As a result of this, the team noted that Grandal should be back in the next 10 to 14 days.

This is big news for the White Sox, as they are trying to cement themselves a playoff spot and need everyone healthy. Although this hasn't been the best of seasons for Grandal, he can get hot and be very effective. His 23 home runs in 93 games last season show this effectively.

Here's to hoping that Grandal's recovery goes swimmingly and that he is back on the field in two weeks at most.
