Alexander shut it down in Los Angeles on Monday night, pitching a scoreless ninth inning in the Brewers 4-0 shutout win against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
On the season with the Brew Crew, he now holds a 5.07 ERA, 1.65 WHIP, and 26 strikeouts over 49 innings.
Alexander is a valuable addition to the Brewers' roster because he can pitch in the rotation and out of the bullpen.
In the minors this season, Alexander has started nine of the 12 games he's appeared in, posting a stellar 2.72 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 40 strikeouts across 59 innings of work. He's also posted an 8-2 record.
