Braves Acquire First Baseman from Brewers

The Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers have made a trade. No, it's not Rowdy Tellez.

The Braves have acquired first baseman Tyler White from the Brewers for cash considerations.
White has not played in a major league game since 2019 when he played for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

In the minors this season, the thirty-one-year-old has hit a middling .230/.357/.788, with 13 home runs, 46 RBIs and four stolen bases across 269 at-bats.

Over his four-year major league career, White has played with the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers, slashing .236/.315/.409, with 26 home runs, 103 RBIs and 76 runs scored over 256 games.

White was able to be traded after the August 02 trade deadline because he has not been on the 40-man roster at any point this season. He'll provide some depth for the Braves organization.
