Boston Red Sox Pitcher Sent Down To Triple-A
The Boston Red Sox have sent down Darwinzon Hernandez to Triple-A.
This move is in response to starter Michael Wacha being activated off the injured list. Hernandez became expendable because of this, and now he will be heading back to the minors. In seven appearances this season with Boston, he has a 0-1 record and 21.60 ERA. Yikes.
Hernandez will be aiming to impress in Triple-A in hopes of landing another call-up before the season is over. Time will tell what happens on that front.
