Boston Red Sox Ace Done For Season

The Boston Red Sox will be without Chris Sale for the remainder of the 2022 season. Yet, it isn't due to the broken finger that he is currently healing. Instead, the ace has now fractured his wrist "during a bicycle accident."

The wrist injury will require surgery, but it has also been announced by the team that he should be ready to go by Spring Training next season.

What a disaster of a year it's been Sale. He appeared in just two games, where he had a 0-1 record to go along with a 3.18 ERA. He also has only made 11 starts since 2020. The injury bug will just never stop bugging Sale it seems.
