Blue Jays Top Prospect Moreno Almost Hits a Ball THROUGH the Wall
It was 111 MPH off the bat.
Toronto Blue Jays top prospect Gabriel Moreno absolutely smoked a line drive double into the outfield wall in Wednesday night's game.
No, he did literally hit the ball into the wall.

That's a lot of power.
The umpire initially called it a home run, because the ball just seemed to disappear. However, upon review it was ruled a double.
To get an idea of how hard that ball was hit, Aaron Judge currently has the hardest hit ball in the 2022 season at an insane 119.8 MPH exit velocity. So, Moreno's was not quite that, but 111 MPH would put him in the top 100 in the MLB this season in hardest hit balls.
Moreno finished the night one-for-four, his team, the Buffalo Bisons, losing 15-4 to the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
Moreno is the number-seven ranked prospect in all of baseball. The twenty-two-year-old catcher is currently hitting .301, with two home runs and 29 RBIs in 52 games at the Triple-A level this season.
