Baltimore Orioles Outright Outfielder
Brett Phillips has cleared waivers and now has been outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk.
The Orioles recently landed Phillips from the Rays before the trade deadline passed. In eight games since joining the club, he has struggled, as he went 2-for-17 at the plate. Even though he has had his trouble, it is a bit surprising that he didn't get claimed. Phillips had several teams interested in him at the deadline.

Phillips will now be aiming to impress with Triple-A Norfolk in hopes of landing a call-up with the Orioles before the season is out. Time will tell on that front.
