It's not yet clear how serious the injury is, but it might be a very real possibility that this sidelines Bolt for the remainder of the 2022 season.
The twenty-eight-year-old is in his second season with the Athletics and has not exactly impressed. It's the 2022 Oakland Athletics, however, so it doesn't take much with them to keep your job in the majors. Nonetheless, Bolt has posted a disappointing .198/.259/.330 triple slash line, with four home runs, 13 RBIs and five stolen bases over 42 games.
Bolt has posted career-high numbers in games played, home runs, runs batted in and stolen bases this season. He is a former 4th-round pick of the Oakland Athletics in the 2015 MLB Draft.
