Arizona Diamondbacks Officially Release Pitcher

Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Chris Devenski has cleared waivers and now has been released by the club.

Devenski was designated for assignment last week, so this roster move was expected. Now the veteran will be aiming to find a new home in the majors elsewhere before 2022 is over.

Teams looking for a bit of bullpen could give Devenski a shot due to his past success in the majors. In 243 career games, the one-time All-Star has a 19-17 record and 3.61 ERA.
