2 Minnesota Twins Pitchers Clear Waivers
Jharel Cotton and Aaron Sanchez will remain as depth pitchers for the Minnesota Twins, as they each have cleared waivers.
Cotton has spent much of this season bouncing between the majors and Triple-A. In 25 games with the Twins on the year, he has a 2-2 record to go along with a 2.83 ERA. Overall, with numbers like that, it isn't a bad thing at all that he will remain in their system.
Sanchez, on the other hand, made just one start for the Twins. He spent the majority of this season with the Washington Nationals but struggled mightily. In eight appearances between the two clubs, the former ERA title winner has a 3-3 record and a disastrous 7.68 ERA.
