Domingo German will make another rehab start for Triple-A Scranton on Friday, likely his last one.

The Yankees don't need to replace starter Luis Severino before the All-Star break, but with Severino landing on the 15-day injured list it seems likely that German will fill in for him next weekend.
The twenty-nine year old has been out for the entire 2021-22 season, thus far, due to a right shoulder impingement. In 14.1 innings pitched in his rehab assignment German has been very good, allowing just one run, striking out 10, and walking none.
In 98 innings pitched last season for the Yankees, German sported a 4.58 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 98 strikeouts. At the very least, he can provide some solid bullpen depth for the Yankees in the second half of the season.
