Washington Nationals Sign Outfielder
The Washington Nationals have added to their outfield depth, as they have signed Daniel Johnson to a minor league contract.
The Nationals are a team to watch at the deadline, as they are set to be sellers. As a result of this, they should end up making several trades. Thus, adding a player like Johnson does make sense, and he could even get a call-up in the near future because of it.
Johnson spent the two previous seasons with the Guardians. In 35 career MLB games, he has four home runs, five RBIs, and a .202 batting average.
