Twins Pitcher Clears Waivers
Juan Minaya is staying with the Twins organization. The 31-year-old pitcher has cleared waivers and has now been outrighted to Triple-A St. Paul.
Minaya has appeared in six games for the Twins this campaign. Overall, he has had mixed results when called upon, and the truth is in his stats. Although he possesses a 1-0 record, his 5.59 ERA is certainly higher than he had hoped for. As a result of this, he will now be aiming to impress in St. Paul in hopes of landing an eventual call-up from here.
In 160 career games between the White Sox and Twins, Minaya sports a 9-5 record to go along with a 3.69 ERA.
