Texas Rangers Sign Veteran Pitcher
The Rangers have signed Dallas Keuchel to a minor league contract. He is set to join Triple-A Round Rock from here.
The 2022 season has been nothing short of a disaster for Keuchel. In 12 starts between the White Sox and Diamondbacks, he has a 2-7 record and 8.53 ERA. Naturally, this led to both teams releasing him, but he will now be aiming to turn things around with the Rangers from here.
Before Keuchel has any chance to redeem himself, he will first need to impress in Triple-A to land himself a call-up. In 266 career games, he has a 101-89 record to go along with a 3.92 ERA. With that, he is also a two-time All-Star and one-time Cy Young Award winner.
