Seattle Mariners Designate Outfielder For Assignment
The Mariners have designated Marcus Wilson for assignment.
Wilson has spent the majority of this season in Triple-A, but he made three appearances with the Mariners, too. During them, he had one hit in five at-bats. Overall, he didn't make the biggest impact when called up, and now he has been removed from their 40-man roster.
The Mariners will either have to trade or place Wilson on waivers before the end of the week. Time will tell if another team ends up giving the outfielder a chance from here. He could be a decent depth player to have.
