Rockies Call Up Pitcher
Jose Urena is back in the majors, as the Rockies have called him up to their major league squad. He will also be starting during Tuesday's contest against the Dodgers.
Urena appeared in four games for the Brewers earlier this season and looked fairly solid when called upon. He sported a 3.52 ERA during that four-game stint, so it's fair to say that he did handle himself. Yet, the Brewers still opted to release him. Now, he will be getting his chance with the Rockies.
Urena comes with a good amount of MLB experience, as he has appeared in 172 career games between the Marlins, Tigers, and Brewers. Over that span, he has a 36-54 record to go along with a 4.76 ERA. It will be interesting to see how he handles himself with the Rockies from here.
