Reds Pitcher To Have Tommy John Surgery

Vladimir Gutierrez's 2022 season is over, as the 26-year-old is set to have Tommy John surgery,

Gutierrez was recently moved to the 60-day injured list, so this development isn't too surprising to see. However, it is still rough to hear that he will not only miss the rest of this season but a good chunk of next year, too.

In 10 appearances this campaign for the Reds, Gutierrez sported a 1-6 record and 7.61 ERA.
