Reds Infielder Sent Down To Triple-A

The Reds have sent Max Schrock down to Triple-A. 

Schrock has played in 13 games for the Reds this season. During them, he has zero home runs, one RBI, and a .154 batting average. Overall, he has struggled at the plate when called upon, so perhaps this demotion could have been predicted. 

Schrock is still on the Reds' 40-man roster, so another call-up is certainly possible. It will be intriguing to see if he has the chance to improve upon his year before it's over.
