Red Sox Place Another Starter On Injured List
The Boston Red Sox have had to place another starter on the injured list, as a left knee sprain has forced Rich Hill out of action.
The 42-year-old left his last start in the 5th inning, and compared the injury to an MCL issue in 2019.
Rich Hill said he is waiting on the results from MRI on left knee that was taken this morning. Said its sore. Compared to MCL injury in 2019 where missed a month.

We can gauge Hill's timeline for a return based on that 2019 injury, which led to him missing a month of action. He now joins Nathan Eovaldi and Garrett Whitlock on the IL.
According to Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com, the Hill injury could allow top prospect Brayan Bello to make his major league debut. He's compiled an impressive 2.33 ERA across 14 starts at Double-A and Triple-A this season.
“There’s a lot of guys in the mix for a lot of stuff here now,” manner Joey Cora said. “All of the sudden, there’s a lot of stuff health-wise that’s going on. We’ve been talking about all those guys the whole season."
