Red Sox Pitcher Designated For Assignment

The Red Sox have designated Michael Feliz for assignment. 

Feliz was recently called up to the Red Sox, but his time with the major league squad is now over after just one appearance. In it, he surrendered one run in 3.1 innings pitched. That was not enough for him to stick around, and now his time on Boston's 40-man roster is over.

The Red Sox have until the end of the week to either trade or place Feliz on waivers. It will be intriguing to see what happens with the 228-game veteran from here.
