Red Sox Pitcher Designated For Assignment
The Red Sox have designated Hansel Robles for assignment.
Robles has appeared in 26 games with the Red Sox this season. During them, he sports a 1-3 record to go along with a 5.84 ERA. With numbers like these, it's fair to say that he struggled. Thus, perhaps his removal from the team's 40-man roster could have been predicted.
The Red Sox will now have until the end of the week to either trade or place Robles on waivers. It will be intriguing to see what they decide to do with the 31-year[old. In 411 career games, he has a 28-26 record and 4.11 ERA.
