Red Sox Call Up Pitcher

The Red Sox have called Michael Feliz to their major league roster. This is in response to the team placing Tyler Danish on the injured list. 

Feliz has not appeared in a major league game this season, so this is a big deal for the 29-year-old. If he performs well for the Red Sox from here, perhaps they will elect to keep him in their bullpen for the rest of the year. 

Feliz has a decent amount of MLB experience on his resume, too. In 227 career games between the Astros, Pirates, Reds, A's, and Red Sox, he sports a 17-9 record and 5.33 ERA. It will be intriguing to see how much these stats change before the season is out.
