Rays Pitcher Hits Injured List

The Rays have placed Jalen Beeks on the injured list due to a leg injury.

Beeks has quietly been a strong part of the Rays' bullpen in 2022, so his presence will be missed. In 24 games thus far, he sports a 1-1 record to go along with a 2.48 ERA. With numbers like these, it's fair to say that he has been reliable when called upon.

Manager Kevin Cash provided some optimism regarding Beeks, however, as he expects the reliever will only be out a minimum of 15 days because of his injury. Time will tell what happens on that front.
