Rangers Outfielder Designated For Assignment
The Rangers have designated Zach Reks for assignment.
Reks has played in 16 games for the Rangers this season, where he has zero home runs, three RBIs, and a .265 batting average. Overall, he's had some decent moments at the plate, but that wasn't enough for him to maintain his spot on their 40-man roster.
The Rangers will now have until the end of the week to either trade or place Reks on waivers. It will be intriguing to see if any other teams are willing to take a chance on him from here.
