Orioles Activate Infielder From Injured List

The Orioles have activated infielder Ramon Urias from the 10-day injured list.

Urias returns to the Orioles active roster in time for their series opener against the Rangers following a nearly one month absence due to a left oblique strain.

In 49 games this season, Urias has hit .225/.273/.387, with six home runs and 18 RBIs.

In a corresponding move, the Orioles sent down infielder Richie Martin. In 13 games filling in for Urias, Martin hit just .167 with three RBIs and three stolen bases.

In his rehab stint, Urias went hitless in his seven at bats.

He'll pick up where he left off as a utility player for the Orioles.
