New York Mets And Pittsburgh Pirates Complete Trade
The New York Mets and Pittsburgh Pirates have made their second trade in two days. This time, the Mets have landed Michael Perez from Pittsburgh in exchange for cash.
Perez will give the Mets more insurance behind the plate as they prepare for the playoffs. In 39 games this season with Pittsburgh, Perez has six home runs, 11 RBIs, and a .150 batting average.
Overall, this is a small move, but it's never a bad thing for a playoff team to add to their depth. Let's see how Perez handles himself in the Big Apple from here.
