New York Mets Ace Set To Return

Exciting news Mets fans! Jacob deGrom is expected to be reinstated from the 60-day injured list this upcoming Tuesday. Thus, the superstar pitcher will be making his 2022 season debut.

Even without deGrom, the Mets have put together an excellent season, as their 62-37 record shows. They are preparing for the postseason and are getting their top pitcher back before them. If deGrom can match the magic he had before his long-term injury, the Mets will be in spectacular shape.

In 15 starts last season, deGrom had a 7-2 record to go along with a ridiculous 1.08 ERA. He was on pace to have the greatest season of his career, but it unfortunately ended early. Let's see if the two-time Cy Young Award winner can replicate this dominance from here.
