MLB Rumors: Washington Nationals Pitcher To Be Traded
The Nationals are getting ready to make several trades before the deadline passes. One pitcher who is expected to be moved because of this is veteran reliever Steve Cishek.
Cishek is a prime rental candidate. The 36-year-old will grab the attention of teams looking to bulk up their bullpen before the start of the postseason. Essentially every contender wishes to do that, so let's see where Cishek ends up from here.
Cishek is also an appealing trade target because of his long MLB resume. In 708 career games, the 13-year veteran sports a 33-41 record to go along with a 2.92 ERA. Teams who should be in on the Cishek sweepstakes include the Red Sox, Blue Jays, Astros, and Dodgers.
