MLB Rumors: Trade Talks Heating Up For Oakland Athletics Reliever

The Athletics are still in tanking mode, so they are a team to watch closely at the deadline. Several of their players have entered the rumor mill, and trade talks centering around Lou Trivino are heating up.

Trivino is having a down year with the A's, however. In 36 games, he has a 1-6 record to go along with a very high 6.83 ERA. Although he hasn't had a good year, his past success is still getting teams to view him as a trade target. Keep in mind, he just had a 3.18 ERA and 22 saves last season.

Don't be surprised to see Trivino dealt before the trade deadline passes. Playoff teams are always looking for bullpen help, and if he can find his old form, he will provide just that.
