MLB Rumors: Texas Rangers & New York Yankees Talking Trade

Last season, the Rangers traded Joey Gallo to the Yankees in what seemed to be a huge move for the Bronx Bombers. Now, one year later, it's a move that the Yankees wish they could take back. That now may be coming to fruition, however, as the Rangers are reportedly expressing interest in a Gallo reunion.

Although the Rangers were full-on sellers last year, they had a big offseason and are trying to become a playoff team again. Although they won't be playing fall baseball, they took a step forward and are far more competitive. Thus, bringing back Gallo could make sense - if he can bounce back, of course.

The 2022 season has been a very rough one for Gallo, however, as he has an extremely low .159 batting average. Yet, baseball fans know that he can be a real power threat when on his game. Let's see if the Rangers bring Gallo back because of this from here.
