The Cardinals missed out on the Luis Castillo sweepstakes, but reports are heating up that they are making Noah Syndergaard one of their primary targets from here.

Syndergaard is expected to be moved before the deadline passes, and it is easy to understand why. After a hot start to the season, the Angels have fallen off dramatically and will be sellers because of it. With the Cardinals looking to upgrade their pitching staff, it makes that they now have Syndergaard on their radar.
