MLB Rumors: A San Francisco Giants Offer That Could Secure Juan Soto

If Juan Soto is interested in winning in his next destination, how about a team that won three World Series in the previous decade? Sure, they were in the earlier part of the decade, but the Giants won 107 games last season, and are squarely in the Wild Card race this season.

Giants icon Buster Posey retired last year, and Barry Bonds is long, long gone, so there's no doubt this legendary franchise is looking for a new legendary player to lead them forward into the future.

The Giants have a loaded prospect list; they could offer a nice selection of an infielder, an outfielder and a pitcher in a top prospect haul for the Nationals.

It all begins with the Giants' top prospect, shortstop Marco Luciano. He might end up playing third base in the majors, but either way, he has an electric bat and hits the ball hard. Very hard.

Kyle Harrison is a left-hander currently at Double-A. In the minors this year across two levels, he's struck out 119 batters in just 71 innings for an insane 15 K/9. He has a 119:32 strikeout to walk ratio.

Luis Matos is an outfielder currently at High-A, and mlb.com reports that he owns the best bat-to-ball skills in the system.

If the Giants can add in a couple of lower level prospects, and a major league level player that interests the Nationals, they could have a deal.
