MLB Rumors: Colorado Rockies To Trade Reliever

The Rockies are ready to be sellers at the trade deadline. One veteran and pending UFA who we likely will see moved because of this is Alex Colome.

We recently reported that Colome has been made available by Colorado. Now, with the deadline less than two weeks away, trade talks are beginning to heat up. As a result of this, we could see him moved by the end of the week.

Colome has quietly had a strong season with the Rockies thus far. In 36 games on the year, he sports a 2-2 record to go along with a 2.86 ERA. Contenders may not utilize him as a closer, but he certainly would be a solid setup man. Let's see where he ends up going from here.
