MLB Rumors: Rockies Pitcher To Be Traded

It was recently reported that Daniel Bard has been made available by the Rockies. Since then, trade talks have increased, and it seems inevitable that the 37-year-old will end up moved before the trade deadline.

Bard has had one of the best seasons of his MLB career, so it makes sense that so many teams are now linked to the veteran. In 35 games on the year, he sports a 2-3 record to go along with a 2.02 ERA. With that, he also has 20 saves. 

Bard would be a strong addition to a contender's bullpen. This is still the case even if he was utilized a setup man, rather than the closer. One club in need of some bullpen help is the Red Sox, so maybe a reunion could be on the way?
