MLB Rumors: Rangers Shopping Reliever
The Rangers have had some solid moments in 2022, but it seems more likely than not that they will be missing the playoffs this fall. Due to this, they are looking to be sellers at the deadline, and one pitcher who should be on the move because of this is Matt Moore.
Moore's trade value is at its highest, as he has been lights out for the Rangers this campaign. In 31 games, he sports a 4-2 record to go along with a very impressive 1.73 ERA. Teams around the league are always looking for bullpen help, and Moore would have the potential to be an excellent addition because of this.
Moore has been primarily a starter during his career, but at this juncture, he works best as a reliever. It will be intriguing to see where the one-time All-Star ends up from here. Perhaps a reunion with the Rays could be in the works?
