MLB Rumors: Pirates Pitcher Garnering Trade Interest
With the MLB trade deadline coming up, trade rumors are beginning to heat up. One player who is getting plenty of interest around the league is Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Jose Quintana. According to Jon Morosi, he is among the "most popular" trade targets available.

Quintana's $2 million salary will make him very easy to trade. The veteran has also pitched well for the Pirates and has the potential to be a solid fourth or fifth starter on a playoff-bound team. In his 16 starts this campaign with Pittsburgh, he has a 2-4 record and 3.33 ERA. Although he has a losing record, he has pitched quite well when called upon.
A 299-game veteran, Quintana sports an 85-84 record and 3.81 ERA over his 11-year career. With that, he also was an All-Star during the 2016 season. Thus, he has a solid MLB resume, and that also can help his chances of getting moved increase, too.
