MLB Rumors: Philadelphia Phillies Pursuing Cleveland Guardians Pitcher

According to Jon Heyman, the Phillies are interested in Guardians pitcher Zach Plesac.

Plesac's name has come up in the rumor mill this month. It was reported that Cleveland is open to the idea of moving him, and now he have a team officially interested in him with the Phillies. With the Phillies looking to add to their rotation, it makes sense that Plesac is now being linked to him.

In 19 games this season, Plesac has a 2-9 record to go along with a 4.33 ERA. Overall, it hasn't been the best year for him, but perhaps a move to the Phillies could be what helps him find more stability.
