MLB Rumors: Oakland Athletics Shopping Veteran Catcher

The A's are expected to make several moves before the deadline passes, and one player who is now being shopped by them is veteran catcher Stephen Vogt.

Vogt's reunion with the A's hasn't been very good, and the truth is in his stats. In 33 games, he has five home runs, 12 RBIs, and a very low .153 batting average. Although it's been a bad year for the veteran, he still could get interest around the league if a team is looking for more insurance behind the plate.

Vogt also has a lengthy MLB resume, too. In 757 career games, he has 80 home runs, 302 RBIs, and a .241 batting average. With that, he is a two-time All-Star.
