MLB Rumors: NL Central Team Emerges As Favorite To Land A's Outfielder

He dropped off teams' radars for some time after serving an 80-game suspension for PED use, but Ramon Laureano is squarely back in the game, and, being an Oakland Athletic veteran, is squarely on the trade block.

Laureano was suspended last August for having a trace amount of nandrolone in his system. He denied the charges, but served his suspension, returning in May of this season. The 28-year-old outfielder possesses a blend of power and speed, though often struggles to keep his batting average up.

One team, according to reports, has emerged as a favorite to land Laureano in trade talks with the A's.

The Milwaukee Brewers are looking for a bit of offensive help, and Laureano could fill the bill.

Currently this season, he's batting .235 with a .732 OPS, with 10 home runs and nine stolen bases. However, moving from the expanse of Oakland's home park to the hitter's environment of American Family Field in Milwaukee could give him a boost.
