MLB Rumors: New York Mets Linked To Colorado Rockies Slugger
Although the Mets recently added Daniel Vogelbach, they still are aiming to add more to their offense before the deadline passes. One player who is reportedly on their radar because of this is Rockies slugger C.J. Cron.
Cron appeared in his first All-Star Game this season. It's been a year to remember for the power-hitting first baseman, as he has 21 home runs, 69 RBIs, and a .295 batting average. Adding that kind of offense to the Mets' lineup would make them an even better club.
It will be intriguing to see if the Mets can create a trading package to land Cron from Colorado.
