MLB Rumors: Minnesota Twins & Miami Marlins Talking Trade

The Twins are looking to add to their rotation before the deadline passes. According to Darren Wolfson, the Twins have had trade talks with the Marlins about Pablo Lopez.

Lopez's name has been talked about in the rumor mill far more frequently as we get closer to the deadline. When looking at the Twins' rotation, it's clear that he would be a major addition to it if acquired. This is especially true with Minnesota aiming to cement themselves a spot in the playoffs this fall.

In 20 games this season, Lopez sports a 7-5 record to go along with a 3.03 ERA. Overall, it's been a strong year for the 26-year-old. It will be intriguing to see if he is a Twin by next week.
