MLB Rumors: Minnesota Twins Linked To Cincinnati Reds Pitcher

According to Darren Wolfson, Reds pitcher Tyler Mahle is the trade target who may be the likeliest to be acquired by the Twins before the deadline passes.

Mahle is expected to be moved, as the Reds are in full-seller mode. He has been in the rumor mill since the offseason, but of course, hasn't been traded yet. However, with Minnesota's interest so high in the starter, don't be surprised to see that change.

In 18 starts this season, Mahle sports a 4-7 record and 4.48 ERA. Overall, it's been a year of mixed results for the starter, but perhaps a change of scenery will lead to more stability.
