MLB Rumors: Diamondbacks Outfielder To Be Moved
The Diamondbacks are once among the league's worst teams, so naturally, they will be sellers at the trade deadline. Pending UFA David Peralta is starting to garner more trade interest around the league because of this, so a move is very likely on the horizon.
We recently reported that the Yankees are one team showing interest in Peralta, but that is expected to be just the tip of the iceberg. Playoff-bound teams are always looking for insurance in their outfield, and Peralta would be a fine addition because of this.
In 80 games this season, Peralta has 12 home runs, 38 RBIs, and a .236 batting average. Any club looking for a bit more experience in the outfield and more pop in their lineup should consider targeting the veteran. Potential teams of interest besides the Bronx Bombers include the White Sox, Mets, and Padres.
