MLB Rumors: Athletics Shopping Infielder

The Athletics began their fire sale this past offseason, and it is expected to continue at the deadline. One player who is reportedly available from the club is Tony Kemp.

The 2022 season hasn't been the best campaign for Kemp. In 85 games, he has two home runs, 14 RBIs, and a low .203 batting average. However, teams around the league have reason to believe that Kemp can bounce back, as he just had a solid .279 batting average in 131 games. 

Kemp could be a very solid addition to a contender looking to add to their depth. He is quite versatile, as he can play in the outfield, too. We will have to wait and see where the seven-year veteran ends up from here.
