MLB Rumors: Angels To Trade Pitcher

Due to a long stretch of playing disastrous baseball, the Angels have fallen completely out of the playoff race and will be sellers at the deadline. Michael Lorenzen is a pitcher to keep an eye because of this, as he is a pending UFA.

Although Lorenzen is currently sidelined, playoff teams could still view him a potential rental option for the playoffs. With the Angels this campaign, he has made 13 starts. During them, he has a 6-6 record to go along with a 4.94 ERA.

Lorenzen is a solid option to consider, as he can work as both a starter and reliever. It will be intriguing to see where the 30-year-old ends up going from here.
